Reliable Delta T
Delta T is a reading commonly used in dry climates to provide a quick guide to acceptable spraying conditions. It's the spread between the wet bulb temperature and the dry bulb temperature in °C. For example, it is not recommended to apply pesticides when Delta T is above 10 —a range of 2 to 8 is ideal. With the new Kestrel wind meter and weather station 3500 Delta T, the calculation is done for you, accurately and simply.Because the wet/dry bulb spread can be quite small, even a small error in either temperature reading will generate a large percentage of error in Delta T.
